With the cancellation of exams I am more free than usual at this time of year.
From March the 23rd, until schools fully resume, I am offering group tuition via Skype for students in Years 10 and 12 in state schools, to support you as you continue with your GCSEs and A levels. This would be ideal for a group of friends from the same school.
Groups can be :
2 students at an hourly rate of £35 per student
3-4 students at an hourly rate of £25 per student
5-6 students at an hourly rate of £15 per student
and could possibly be extended to larger groups for a further rate reduction.
For individual tuition and for those in the independent sector my existing hourly rates still apply.
In addition, I’m now offering free e-mail support to ‘trouble-shoot’ problems in A level chemistry for all Year 12 students in Oxford. If you are stuck with something, get in touch via the form at the bottom of the page. Tell me what the problem is and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can - usually within a few hours. Please check your spam folder for a reply if I don't seem to have responded after 24 hours.
Wishing everyone well as we continue to adjust during this very difficult time.
I am a qualified chemistry teacher, DBS checked and with over 20 years of teaching experience. I was formerly at St. Paul’s Girls’ School in London for 12 years but moved to Oxford in 2010 and have been tutoring from my home since then.
I won a national prize for my teaching of chemistry early in my career and am also an A Level Chemistry examiner.
